Everyone’s lives have changed so much in the past few months, and as difficult as it is, it is comforting to know we are all working together to protect lives and care for others.
In DEVELOPED countries such as ours this pandemic means many inconveniences, job loss and living frugally. In Canada we are lucky to have Government aid and many resources to help us in times of need.
In DEVELOPING countries there is limited to no help with poverty levels beyond what most of us can comprehend. Sadly it is estimated that more lives will be lost to starvation and water borne disease, than to COVID19.
Limited resources for this global population rely on humanitarian organizations. These organizations are understandably seeing huge drops in donations.
It is important to WanderFull to help those in need.
Many companies have changed the way they do things to survive. WanderFull Travel Experiences depends on people traveling to developing countries to help others and immerse themselves culturally. With the travel industry reeling and budgets compromised, WanderFull has had to switch gears as well.
Hopefully in years to come the travel industry will return and we can resume our cultural immersion travel experiences.
WanderFull has been dedicated to helping people; with this new direction we will continue down this path.
Helping children age 5-10 learn about cultural travel,
creating an interactive way for kids to work through on their own or with the assistance of a parent.
As well WanderFull has found a way to donate to worthy organizations helping people worldwide.
Children will be lead through imaginarily travel by our new mascot, Libellule ("friends call me Lu") a type of dragonfly called a Globe Wanderer.
Each kit will be about a country and will have many activities and crafts, and fun learning through the words of a child’s letter from that particular country.
These kits will be released 4 times a year with many different countries and new friends.
Each kit will offer at least 5 hours of learning.
50% of the cost of each kit goes to an organization helping children in the countries highlighted.
The first kit will be released in early June.
This week there will be a sneak peak on Facebook into what great adventures are in store!
Watch for a free activity that is included in the very first WanderFull KIDS project kit.
As “Lu” says….
Wiggum wiggum here we go!
